The main room auction highlights of our Spring, 2010 Doll Auction are as follows: An exceptional Nancy Ann Style Show hard plastic bride, "Wedding Day" (#2904) dazzled the crowd with a winning bid of $687.50, composition Shirley Temple dolls varying in size and conditions sold from $88 to $200, Composition and hard plastic Mary Hoyer dolls (many w/outfits from Hoyer patterns) sold from $50 to $121, vintage Mattel Barbie dolls continue to be extremely popular with our buyer's. Lot #73 which consisted of a 1965 black vinyl Barbie and Skipper Travel Trunk w/1964 ponytail Barbie, 1964-'66 Skipper, 1961 Ken w/flocked hair and assorted vintage outfits sold for $550, a bubblecut Barbie w/assorted outfits brought $176, a 1964 bendable leg Midge and a 1965 straight leg Francie were sold as a lot for $357.50, while three flats of assorted Barbie and Barbies friends dolls found a new home for the sale price of $352.00

Other highlights include: Two antique doll dresses (white) in excellent condition $210, child's tin litho "General Grocery" store w/vintage boxed miniature store products, Steiff Club Editon camel pull toy w/certificate and box $198, box of assorted doll clothing and shoes $110, Madame Alexander set of 7" compo Dionne Quints in bed brought $440, a large size Martha Chase 28" stockinette boy sold for $308, Monica Studios compo "Monica" in excellent condition $352, Hollywood Studios "Monica" $176, Lenci 18" girl in original outfit $495, Annette Himstedt "Kasimir" w/o box $165, Kestner (JDK #257) bisque character face baby $288, K Star R, Simon Halbig #403 straight leg walker "ran" away with a winning bid of $385.

The auction also included a nice selection of composition and hard plastic dolls as well as antique bisque, wax, papier mache' and china head dolls plus, doll furniture, carriages, boxlots of doll clothing, doll parts, doll related collector books and more!

HENN Highlights: 1998 Henn Christmas basket $39, Henn pottery (Roseville, Ohio) blue spongeware nested set of four mixing bowls $52, 26 pcs. "watermelon" design pattern dinnerware $29, Henn Christmas plates from 1995 thru 2000 $15.
